Art and pottery classes at The Blooming Paintbrush Studio are a combination of fun and learning. All learning happens through doing hands-on projects. Classes are offered for kids as well for adults. Class sizes are kept small in order to provide individualized attention. Projects are often customized for each student depending on his or her skill-level and areas of interest.
Art Classes
Ten hours of classes per session. Classes may be taken at beginner, mid or advanced levels. Projects can cover drawing, painting, and sculptures using a variety media, e.g., color pencils, pen and ink, watercolor, oils, acrylic, paper-mache, found objects, 2D and 3D collages, mix-media, etc. At beginner level all project materials are supplied. At advance level if you want to work with specialized materials and want to supply your own material, there will be discounted fee.
Pottery Classes
Ten hours of classes per session. Classes may be taken at beginner, mid or advanced levels. Projects can cover different construction and firing methods like hand-built (slab, coil, pinched, molds, sculptures) and wheel-thrown, terracotta and glazes. Use of wheel and kiln are included. At beginner level clay and all other material are provided.
